Premier’s VCE Awards are presented to the students attaining the highest achievements in each VCE study in a given year. Over the years a substantial number of GVGS students have achieved this outstanding distinction.

At the award presentation ceremony held in Melbourne on 27 July, 2023, where Victoria’s top performing 2022 VCE students were recognised for their outstanding academic results, Layla O’Callaghan received a Premier’s VCE Award for her outstanding achievement in VCE Unit 3&4 Indonesian Second Language.

Layla, currently in Year 12, completed Indonesian as an acceleration study in Year 11, 2022 and was taught by Ibu Ruci Dewi.
