Applicants are required to complete the following application form.
Process
- Each application is considered by the selection panel.
- Short listed candidates and their parents /caregivers are invited to attend an interview with the selection panel chaired by the Principal.
- A second interview may be required.
All decisions will be made by the Principal considering the advice of the Selection Panel.

Outcomes
It is anticipated that all Scholarship outcomes will be communicated to applicants in June 2026.
Priority Entry Programme 2027
Priority Entry Programme- Academic
Priority Entry Programme – General Excellence
Priority Entry Programme – Academic – (Years 5,7,10,11, 2027 entry)
Information
- The Priority Entry Programme – Academic is awarded on merit based on outstanding achievement in an independent external academic achievement test conducted by EduTest Australia.
- Registration and payment can only be made online.
- Registrations open from December 2025
- Registrations close on Friday 13th March 2026
- Examinations held on Saturday 21st March 2026
- Examination Venue: Goulburn Valley Grammar School, 455 Verney Road, Shepparton
- Applicants will be notified of the arrangements one week prior to the examination date.
Results
- It is anticipated that results will be shared with applicants in June 2026.
- The School will provide Scholarship candidates with a report produced by EduTest with general information about their performance. EduTest has indicated that actual scores (or order of merit) must not be communicated to parents. This is a condition of entering students to this examination.
Expression of Interest
The 2027 Priority Entry Programme – Academic Expression of Interest has now closed.
Priority Entry – General Excellence (Years 7-11, 2027 entry)
Information
- The Priority Entry Programme – General Excellence is awarded on merit based on outstanding achievements and qualities demonstrated across a range of domains.
- The areas considered include Academic Achievement, The Arts, Sport, Leadership and Community.
- Applications must be completed in writing via the School’s application form.
- Applications will be reviewed by a selection panel led by the Principal who will recommend a shortlist to be interviewed.
- For students who have lodged an application for the Priority Entry Programme – Academic and paid the application fee, no further charge will be made for the Priority Entry Programme – General Excellence.
- Students who have not lodged an application for the Priority Entry Programme – Academic will be charged a fee of $90.00 (incl. GST) with the scholarship application.
